Oatman on Rte 66

Oil on Gallery Canvas · 10” x 15” x 1½” · $390 CAD · Unframed

On a trip to Las Vegas, my mom and I set out to drive a stretch of old Route 66. Along the way we passed broken-down trucks, faded signs and flash flood warnings. Then we found Oatman, a tiny town where wild donkeys wander the streets like they own the place. I couldn’t get enough of it. This painting brings me back to that road, and to her.
